Residents.com news, March 2011
Residents.com news was the news section of The Residents' official website, Residents.com, maintained by Big Brother of The Cryptic Corporation beginning in September 2010 and concluding in September 2014.
As social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter became more widely used by the group, The Residents' news updates during this period were more often premiered on either of those services, usually Facebook.
In the early months of 2011, a minor format change was instituted to this news section, with dates being briefly added to the "news headlines", and the news section's heading changed from "Residents Headline News" to simply "Residents News".

- Residents contribute to animated film
- The Residents have added some vocal parts to a new film from Dutch animator, Rosto. The film, The Monster of Nix, is due for screening in the Spring of 2011. Rosto contributed a one-minute video to The Commercial DVD in 2004.

- No merchandise in Mexico?
- Apparently shipping merch to Mexico by air proved too expensive and there was not time for ground shipment to Portland from Mexico in time for the tour in the NW. At the last moment, the merch shipped directly to Portland.

- New Orleans show cancelled
- I have not gotten a final explanation but Hein mentioned that Carlos has contacted the group and demands a meeting and April 5 is the only day that it is possible. They are sorry for any inconvenience but legally they have to follow up on the meeting.
