Residents.com news, April 2011
Residents.com news was the news section of The Residents' official website, Residents.com, maintained by Big Brother of The Cryptic Corporation beginning in September 2010 and concluding in September 2014.
As social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter became more widely used by the group, The Residents' news updates during this period were more often premiered on either of those services, usually Facebook.
In the early months of 2011, a minor format change was instituted to this news section, with dates being briefly added to the "news headlines", and the news section's heading changed from "Residents Headline News" to simply "Residents News".

- Answer to questions about 3D product.
- The 3D shoot of Talking Light is only a shoot. The footage will exist for that time in the future when 3D products are financially realistic. At this time there is not a sufficient market for even the hugest music act to make a 3D Blue Ray DVD, certainly not The Residents. The prospect exists that 3D products may become viable in the 5-10 year range. But there will be no 3D DVD coming out at this time.
