The Residents Blog, April 2010
The Residents' Blog was a news blog maintained by Big Brother of The Cryptic Corporation beginning in August 2003 (originally titled The Residents' Official News Blog and Website Wrapper, then The Residents' Official News BOG and later Official News Blog).
The BOG became the Cryptics' (and thus, The Residents') main outlet for communication with their fans until the website's redesign early in this month. At this point (at least according to the website's header after the redesign) the blog was simply called The Residents Blog.
This page collects posts made to this news blog in April 2010, as archived on archive.org, transcribed to this wiki by a Mysterious Spanish Lady.

EuroRalph Web Site
Apr/06/10 11:32 AM
- The EuroRalph web site in Germany has finally turned out the lights and locked the door. Though they had lost official sanction from The Cryptic Corporation several years ago, they had continued to sell Residents product until today.
ATP Show time announced
Apr/07/10 07:56 AM
- The problem with festivals is that you never know when the group you want to see will be playing. I have just gotten some info. I can’t guarantee it won’t change but here is what I have.
- ATP
- Centre Stage (2800 capacity)
- The Residents 7:45-8:45
- Show up at 9 and weep.
Museum video retrospective and performance
Apr/08/10 07:50 AM
- The Berkeley Art Museum will pay tribute to The Residents at long last with a video retrospective on June 9th at the Pacific Film Archives. Also the CD-ROM of Freak Show will be demonstrated.
- Associated with that will be an experimental performance on June 4th.
- The Residents will present an acoustic set in one of the galleries of the art museum.
- I suspect things will get very interesting when the guitars and computers are eliminated.
- Note that neither Randy, Chuck, or Bob will be performing. Don’t expect to hear material from Talking Light. In fact I don’t think there will be any Residents material performed at all. It is stranger than that. More suitable for an art museum event.
- The museum is not a theater or venue, so I suspect space is limited.
- Also under discussion for those still wanting to see The Residents presentation of Randy, Chuck and Bob in Talking Light in the San Francisco Bay Area, watch for that later in the year.
