RZWiki:About

RZWiki is an unofficial fan-sourced wiki dedicated to the ostensibly anonymous American avant-garde music and multimedia group, The Residents. The wiki, originally founded as Meet The Residents Wiki on the now defunct platform Wikia on January 29th 2017, is operated and maintained primarily by members of the unofficial fan group The Mysterious Spanish Ladies.

RZWiki's principal aim is to develop a free, comprehensive hypertext encyclopedia, sourced by and for fans, focused entirely on The Residents, The Cryptic Corporation, Ralph Records and other related entities. The information featured on RZWiki has been largely derived from online resources (both official and unofficial), as well as other reference texts (such as printed media and album liner notes).

After many years of increasing editorial interference and a growing amount of irrelevant and intrusive ad content, on December 11th 2025, The Mysterious Spanish Ladies finally migrated RZWiki from its previous host, Fandom, to its current, privately hosted and wholly self-managed happy home at residents.wiki.
