Residents.com XML feed, September 2016
Between September 2014 and December 2016, The Residents' official website, Residents.com, posted news updates via an XML feed embedded on the website.
Although the vast majority of posts to this feed are not known to have been archived, a handful of posts from the last four months of the XML feed have been preserved in a "testing environment" version of News Machine, the news blog which would replace the XML feed (and the preceding BOG) in January 2017.
This page collects posts made to the XML news feed in September 2016, transcribed to this wiki by a Mysterious Spanish Lady from The Residents' official website.

The next Residents album is entitled The Ghost of Hope and is slated for release in February of 2017. The album features guest collaborator Eric Drew Feldman - who has worked with everybody cool, so he's already in your record collection.
Two tracks from the album, "Rushing Like a Banshee" and "Train vs. Elephant" will be available on a limited 7" vinyl, suitable for inclusion in your Rock-Ola. The single is looking at a November release (in various editions) by Psychofon Records, and a regular black vinyl release will be distributed by MVD in December.
