The Residents' Official News Blog was a news blog maintained by Big Brother of The Cryptic Corporation beginning in August 2003, previously known as the Official News BOG (or simply BOG) until April 2007.
The BOG became The Cryptics' (and thus, The Residents') main outlet for communication with their fans until the website's redesign in 2008.

Mute Announces Two More Titles

- Two more titles will join the hardbound Mute collection in the first quarter of 2008. Mute and The Cryptic Corporation will release what is considerered to be the final re-release of DUCK STAB and ESKIMO. Yes, I know you already own it, but remember there are still about six and a half billion people on earth who don't. These will be a great addition to nice line of Mute / Resi hardbound releases.

Ralph AM to sell assorted Euro Ralph products

- Ralph America announced that it will be offering a number of items from the Euro Ralph catalog in a big Holiday sale. The sale is planned to start on Thursday Nov. 29th and will include colored vinyl, wallets, stickers, and other oddities, as well as 20% off of regular CD and DVD stock items.
