Residents.com news was the news section of The Residents' official website, Residents.com, maintained by Big Brother of The Cryptic Corporation beginning in September 2010 and concluding in September 2014.
As social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter became more widely used by the group, The Residents' news updates during this period were more often premiered on either of those services, usually Facebook.
In the early months of 2011, a minor format change was instituted to this news section, with dates being briefly added to the "news headlines", and the news section's heading changed from "Residents Headline News" to simply "Residents News".

- Randy Rose being treated for exhaustion
- Singer for The Residents, Randy Rose, has entered a rest facility suffering from exhaustion. A year of extensive touring with The Residents and the pressure of mounting a solo outing, Sam's Enchanted Evening, has proven too much for the aging performer. The Sam show has been put on hold while Mr. Rose's condition is observed. The BOG wishes him a speedy recovery.

- Bimbo's Talking Light left-over CD's headed for eBay
- Miles Taber has announced that he will begin offering a small number of remaining copies of the 2xCD, BIMBO'S TALKING LIGHT through the Ralph eBay Outlet Store. The CD captures the entire performance of the final TL show and is regarded as the ultimate capturing of the Residents most successful touring show. The copies will appear on eBay within the next 2 weeks. Watch for announcements here.

- BB to introduce EYEFUL, an opportunity for you to give money to the BOG
- I guess it was bound to happen. I finally have to find a bit of money for the BOG operation. Fortunately it doesn't take much as I will continue to do it as my hobby. I have gotten clearance from Cryptic and The Residents to drop some solitary songs onto RSD with www.residents.com being the benefactor for whatever they may bring in. Today I am doing a test. Life Would be Wonderful / James Brown Story from the NY Demons Dance Alone. 79 cents. Officially this will start in September.
