Loneliness
"Loneliness" is the 33rd track on The Residents' Commercial Album, released by Ralph Records in October 1980. Like all other songs on the album, it is exactly one minute long.
Music video
The Residents created a new video for the song in 2004 for the Commercial DVD before deciding to make it a collaborative project. A second video was then produced by French animator Fabrice Fouquet.
Lyrics
I came upon it in the night and left it in the rain, and from that moment to today I've never been the same. I knew not what the weather meant when he said goodbye; I only know this loneliness will never make me cry, make me cry.[1]
