The 180 Gs are an American a cappella vocal group led by David Minnick, who are based in Detroit, Michigan. They are best known for arranging a cappella renditions of "notoriously difficult" albums and songs, beginning with Sing To God by Cardiacs in 2018.
In 2016 they submitted a cover of The Residents' "Margaret Freeman" to the group's collaborative project I Am A Resident!, which was featured in its original unedited mix on the deluxe edition of the CD release of the album.
This was followed by a complete a cappella rendition of The Residents' Commercial Album, released by Klanggalerie in 2019. The a cappella album was approved by The Residents, with liner notes being contributed by Homer Flynn of The Cryptic Corporation.
