2009

2009 was most notable as the year The Residents debuted their RSD webstore. The webstore would allow The Residents to release any material they wished, without the need to press CDs or to go through a record label. As a result, 2009 featured 14 different digital releases.

• 3rd: MVD Audio release The UGHS!, a collection of demos recorded by The Residents between 2006-2007. This same day they release Ten Little Piggies, an outtakes compilation by the group.
• 17th: Is Anybody Out There? is released.
• 27th: Ralph America release 'Arkansas', an album of unreleased tracks recorded from 2007-2008.
• El Año Del Muerto is released.

December

• 9th: Birdsong & Hayabusa Landings re-issue Meet The Residents on CD in Japan, featuring bonus tracks from Refused. They also re-issue The Third Reich 'N' Roll, featuring the same track listing as the 1987 re-issue.
