The Bunny Boy is a web series by The Residents, and the first part of their Bunny Boy multimedia project.
Plot synopsis
Bunny Hartley begins a video journal to draw attention to his missing brother Harvey.
History
The show first aired September 1st 2008, the same day as the album. The show was based around audience response, with viewers emailing Bunny theories which would help him find his brother.
In October The Bunny Boy mini-tour began, and until December, the live show featured Bunny retelling the story of the web-show to the audience, and as episodes of the show were being released, the show would change to reflect the new episodes.
A soundtrack album was released on October 3rd. Post-tour the show entered its second and final season.
In 2009, the show was released on DVD, re-titled Is Anybody Out There? with additional footage from the tour.
