Cantaten und Symphonen for der Saxophonen und Violinen
"Cantaten und Symphonen for der Saxophonen und Violinen" (or... Cantaten und Symphonen mit Eine Poem) is a short instrumental composition for saxophone and violin by N. Senada.
Background
The song was written by N. Senada during the time he was living in the forests of Baravia.
Its first (and to date, only) known public performance was during a live radio broadcast by N. Senada and Philip C. LIthman in 1971. An excerpt from this performance, featuring overdubs by The Residents, was included on the UWEB compilation album Daydream B-Liver in 1991.
It is one of a small number of surviving compositions attributed to Senada, alongside "Pollex Christi" (composed in 1937 and recorded and released by The Residents sixty years later) and the contents of Residents, Uninc.'s demo tape B.S. (compiled by the group in late 1971).
