Talking Light Live Brussels Belgium

Talking Light Brussels Belgium is the third release in The Residents' second series of Talking Light downloads. It's also the nineteenth of sixty-seven digital live albums released of The Residents' Talking Light world tour. The show was recorded at Ancienne Belgique (Trans. Old Belgium), an iconic Belgian concert hall. The Residents had previously played there twenty-one years earlier on their Cube-E tour, and are scheduled to revisit the venue in 2023.

This was The Residents' first performance in Brussels since 2003. They would return to the region in 2019 on the In Between Dreams tour. The Residents would revisit Belgium seven months later, again on the Talking Light tour.

The show features Randy dealing with some hecklers during the first monologue, a higher pitched voice during the first half of the spoken word section of They Are The Meat, and a seamless transition between Howard and Semolina; the former of which is considerably abridged compared to the typical version performed. Demons Dance Alone is performed as a second encore.
