Bandcamp is an American online music company founded in 2008 by Oddpost co-founder Ethan Diamond and programmers Shawn Grunberger, Joe Holt and Neal Tucker; the company is headquartered in Oakland, California.

Hardy Fox was a very early adopter of Bandcamp, uploading The Residents' album Postcards from Patmos to the site only one month after the site's launch. The next upload of Residents material to the site followed in 2013, when the single "Drum No Fife" was released on the site by Other Minds Records.

Later in 2013 Ralph Records created a Bandcamp page titled "Ralphlet Outlet", with the intention of posting Residents material only for fans following the death of the group's previous online music platform, Robot Selling Device. Labels such as Klanggalerie and Secret Records also maintain Bandcamp pages, and have occasionally released digital downloads of their Residents releases through the site.

The Residents had their own Bandcamp page for a short time, but it became inactive. A new Residents Bandcamp page was launched in August 2024, with its first releases being the singles "Nobody's Nos" and "That'll Be the Day (Baby Baby)"

As of December 2025, The Residents and Cherry Red Records are said to be preparing material for a new Bandcamp page, "full of curios, unreleased stuff, rarities you may have missed and whatever else catches their attention", to be debuted in the near future with the release of "several hours" of soundtrack material from the 1995 nature documentary series Hunters: The World of Predators and Prey.
