The Residents' 50th Anniversary Retrospective Trading Card Set is a set of trading cards designed by The Residents and sold through makeplayingcards.com as part of the group's 50th Anniversary celebrations. Only 100 sets of the cards were available for sale, exclusively through makeplayingcards.com, for sixty days only starting from June 14th 2022.[1]
The set contains 50 cards, each representing a single year in the group's history and highlighting a project from that year.[1] The card set is notable for the first public release of imagery from the group's feature film Triple Trouble, which premiered later in the year; one card boasts an image of Dustin Rose as the film's protagonist Randall Rose, Jr., which would later be featured on the album cover of the film's soundtrack album.
