Wizards of Boat is a music project from Lafayette, Louisiana, described as "two brain halves of the same man hurtled backwards through time from another dimension". They have recorded at least six albums; their most recent, Heavy Handed Nonsense, was released in August 2014.
Wizards of Boat are perhaps best known for their cover of "Hanging By His Hair" by The Residents, included in the collaborative cover mash-up album I Am A Resident! in 2018 (and also featured separately on the bonus disc of the CD edition of the album); they also submitted a cover of "Weight-Lifting Lulu" to the project.
Wizards of Boat appears to have remained inactive since the release of I Am A Resident!.
