Background
The concept behind the album is to collect the best of independently released material from 1975 to 1982, with each act representing a different part of America. The Residents' Booker Tease is chosen to represent San Francisco, and are the top billed band on the cover. Serenade For Missy saxophonist, Norman Salant, is featured.
