Steven Kloman is an American best known to fans of The Residents as the long-time partner and husband of the group's late composer and producer Hardy Fox. He is the inspiration for Roman, the fictionalized husband of Fox's Charles Bobuck persona.
Kloman and Fox met in 1984 and began a relationship; the two married in 2008, following the legalization of same-sex marriage in California. They were together until Fox's death on October 30th 2018.
Kloman made rare appearances in The Residents' work, supplying voice work for the Freak Show CD-ROM in 1994, and CGI graphic assistance for the Bad Day On The Midway game in 1996.
