Steal This Disc 2 is the second compilation album in Rykodisc's Steal This Disc trilogy.

Background

The album features the instrumental version of 'The Thing About Them' from the band's recently released God In Three Persons Soundtrack album. Other notable artists featured on the compilation include Jimi Hendrix and Frank Zappa. This would be The Residents' last inclusion in a Rykodisc sampler album, until 1998's Radio Free sampler.

The CD was re-released in Canada in early 1989 with new artwork, simply re-titled Steal This Disc.

It is the last of the Steal This Disc trilogy to feature The Residents, as they would leave Rykodisc in 1989.
