Slow Bob in the Lower Dimensions is a 1991 six-minute animated short film by animator Henry Selick, featuring the voices of Mark Steger and Hannah Sim, and an original score by The Residents.

Originally created as a pilot episode for an ongoing series for MTV, Slow Bob tells the story of Robert Potemkin (voiced by Steger), who lives in the attic of his family's house. One night, he is sent to a parallel world by sentient lizards.

The film won an award at the Ottawa International Animation Festival in 1992. Director Tim Burton saw the short film and hired Selick to direct the film The Nightmare Before Christmas; the Slow Bob series was abandoned, although MTV would branch into adult animation soon afterwards, beginning with their series Liquid Television in 1992.

Samples of dialogue from the short film are heard on the "Tongue" interstitial tracks from The Residents' 2002 album Demons Dance Alone.
