Shadow Stories is a mini album by The Residents. It is meant to be a companion piece to their Shadowland Album. It features spoken word versions of two older Residents songs, The Butcher, and Almost Perfect.

Background
This material was recorded in 2014 as audio for the video segments of The Residents' Shadowland Tour. The album version is remixed slightly when compared to the video segment versions.
It was given away at The Rio Theatre in California during one of there shows. Only 80 copies were ever made, making this one of the rarest Residents releases. On the website Discogs, it has sold for nearly $400.
In 2023, the release was released onto streaming services, re-indexed.
