Left With The Fires (Hardy Fox newsletter)

From RZWiki

"Left with the Fires" is the title of a short email by Hardy Fox, sent to subscribers of his Hacienda Bridge mailing list on October 13th 2017.

It is the first entry in the series of emails to follow the nominal end of the newsletter entitled Hacienda Bridge, and precedes the retitled edition, up, by a month. The email promotes the release of the Black Tar and the Cry Babies EP of the same name.

The email

Greeting Friends,

In 2016 we had a very successful BLACK TAR fund raiser for FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

This year I am helping The Sonoma Humane Society.

A new BLACK TAR piece, LEFT WITH THE FIRES, is available at the Bobuck BANDCAMP page.  Link below.

The piece is free to download, but if you wish to donate, I will match your donation with my own donation, dollar for dollar.

The entire sum will go to the Sonoma County Humane Society.

We are having disastrous fires at the moment here in Northern California.

3,000 homes WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS of Santa Rosa were destroyed. Cats and dogs also lived in these houses.

Evacuation centers usually do not allow family pets to join the humans.  The Sonoma County Humane Society, and other services, are caring for the pets while the disaster is going on.

This stresses the resources of food and services at the Humane Society.  I encourage you to help the society as they comfort the confused cats and dogs who have been separated from their families. Humans can cope because they can use intellect to create a sense of control over situations, but the pets are just scared.  Some may never completely recover from the trauma.

This music project will disappear from Bandcamp the 16th of November.

Again, this Black Tar project is free, but I am matching all donations and the total will go to The Sonoma County Humane Society to feed pets displaced by this disaster.

Thank you for your generosity.

- Hardy Fox

This cat with singed whiskers was found underneath a car. Fortunately he is microchipped and in the Humane Society’s care until the owner can be located.
