Ecological Blues
"Ecological Blues" is the title of a song said to feature on The Ballad of Stuffed Trigger, an unreleased 1970 demo tape by the group who would later become known as The Residents. The track has never been officially released by the group in any form.
It is not entirely clear which piece of music the title corresponds to on the tape, however, it could possibly be the title of an otherwise unknown guitar and vocal-based "Delta Nudes" original heard towards the end of the first half of the Stuffed Trigger demo tape.
The song title originated from the 1979 W.E.I.R.D. fan club publication The Official W.E.I.R.D. Book of The Residents, which listed only three songs from The Ballad of Stuffed Trigger, including the title track as well as "Ecological Blues", "Bringing In The Sheaves" (which does not feature on the version of the tape known to fans) and a "suite of rock and roll songs".[1]
