"Boo Who?" is a song by The Residents, featured on their 1977 album Fingerprince.

History

The track originates from a much longer piece dating from February 29th 1976 entitled "Leapmus" (though featuring greatly different lyrics and vocals by Hardy Fox), the existence of which first became known to fans with the 2018 release of the pREServed 2-disc edition of Fingerprince.

"Boo Who?" was one of the most-covered songs for the I Am A Resident! project in 2018, and thus features prominently on the both final releases, with versions by Cult With No Name and Uni included the two-disc editions, and a version by Lucas Marti being featured on the LP edition.

Lyrics

Now there just is a cow
Where once was a calf
Now there just is a stare
Where once was a laugh
Now there just is a cow
Where once was a calf
Now there just is a stare
Where once was a laugh
A smile would make believe
That it had a friend
And tomorrow's name
Once never would end
