"Mousetrap" is an instrumental by The Residents, featured as the third track on their album The Tunes of Two Cities (the second instalment in the planned six-album Mole Trilogy), released March 6th 1982 on Ralph Records.

The song, intended to represent the music of the fictional Chub culture, stylistically parodies wartime big band jazz; the song's melody is inspired by "Eager Beaver" by Stan Kenton.

It was later included on the promotional compilation album Louisiana's Lick in 1995. To date, the song has not been performed live by The Residents.

In 2020, The Cryptic Corporation asked The Residents to curate a selection of their favorite songs from their own back catalog for a Spotify playlist titled "Residents' Personal Favorites"; This was one of forty songs chosen.
